Keegan Sheridan, ND is a seasoned CPG industry and health professional with over ten years driving technical marketing, product innovation and consumer education for natural/organic food, beverage and dietary supplement brands.

Her current consulting practice offers expertise in emerging ingredients, claims and substantiation; Food Movement strategy and tracking services; and nutrition and natural health content strategy and development. Clients include PepsiCo’s natural beverage portfolio (Naked Juice, ONE Coconut Water and Izze Soda), Kura, Corazonas and Belicious.

Keegan also produces the Food Movement Minute, a quick-read top story news analysis for the Food and Beverage Industry and highly-informed natural/organic consumers.

While at Kashi Co., Keegan was the senior nutrition and natural health business partner to the Kashi, Bear Naked and Stretch Island Fruit portfolios. Her responsibilities included management of the claims development and compliance process across marketing, legal and regulatory teams as well as acting as a point person to the business for emerging Food Movement, nutrition science and health trends. She played a key role in successfully navigating the business through the GMO social media crisis of 2012, resulting in Kashi’s current position as one of the leading suppliers of Non-GMO Project Verified foods in the country.

As the technical marketing lead at the dietary supplement company Irwin Naturals, Keegan designed over 20 unique product formulas as well as the technical and consumer marketing materials to support these products in market. During her time at the company, she quickly became a key support to sales executives, participating in pitch meetings with top accounts such as Walmart, Costco and Walgreens.

Prior to focusing in the CPG industry, Keegan operated a natural health private practice in Los Angeles where she specialized in working with patients suffering from a range of digestive diseases and/or side effects of conventional cancer therapies. Her treatments included highly customized diet plans and other lifestyle-based therapies. She is a licensed naturopathic doctor and continues to maintain her license in the state of California, completing a minimum of 60 continuing education credits in emerging nutrition science and natural medicine therapies every two years.

Keegan is an absolute master of the natural health space. Classical training in naturopathy at Bastyr University has given her a solid foundation in the discipline but her experience in the natural/organic industry on top tier brands like Kashi, Bear Naked and Stretch Island Fruit has also given her a robust business skillset.
